The Emmantina Hotel has been recently refurbished in a stylish manner. The staff are courteous and professional. As we arrived from the Port of Piraeus at around 2100 hrs, we had dinner on the rooftop restaurant/bar of the Hotel and enjoyed the food, which was reasonably priced. There is a pool on the roof but unfortunately we did not get to see it as it closes in the evening for safety reasons. The room was a good size and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The bathroom was stocked with all the necessities (including dispensers for hair/body wash, hair conditioner, hand soap and body lotion). Slippers and robes were also provided. Good variety at breakfast and nice ambience. There is a vending machine on the ground floor if you need to buy a bottle of water or a snack. We took a taxi to the airport which cost €40 (approx. 30 mins ride) but there is an airport bus stop nearby. For information, a taxi from Piraeus Port to the Emmantina Hotel cost us €35 (inclusive of luggage). We left the next morning so unable to comment on the surrounding area: shops, restaurants, etc..... The Hotel does not overlook the sea but is on a main busy road, although we were able to see a little of the sea from a distance from our room which was on the third floor (better view from the rooftop). We would definitely return to The Emmantina Hotel if we need to stay the night prior to travelling, as it is halfway between Athens Airport and the Piraeus Port.

our stay was very nice. It was super hot when we were there and the pool was fantastic! the reception lady - I forgot her name, middle aged lady who was so so helpful, great english. She is excellent at her job. the room was very comfortable. walk to the beach was easy enough. You are right infront of a busy highway but a little walk down the road and there is a traffic light where u can cross safely. our room had a double glass door that kept the noise of the busy street out. downtown glyfada is cute and has lots of shopping. breakfast was cheap and excellent. We are a family of 4 and got connecting rooms. I would stay again for sure!!

Requested rooms close to one another and asked for early check in. Both requests were met, My daughter and granddaughter ate breakfast on 2 mornings and were very happy. We ate at rooftop restaurant and it was really nice food. The pool was a bonus and and perfectly located close to restaurant/bar.. Tea, coffee, soft and alcoholic drinks available all day.. Lovely feel to hotel. Felt safe and comfortable, My other granddaughter was unwell on our last day and we were able to pay for their room until 6pm. They were very busy and pulled out all the stops to accommodate us.

It had been refurbished and was very clean with decent facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful (especially at reception). The pool was nice and the food menu on the roof was lovely/very reasonably priced. The Greek pizza was fab! The rooms were a good size and the air conditioning system was good/very easy to use. The location is perfect with a short walk to the shops in glyfada. We would stay there again.
